The following 1 hour CME lecture, now being offered to hospitals nationwide:
1. Bipolar Disorder: New Developments in Diagnosis and Treatment
After taking part any of this activity, participants should be better able to:
- Describe the neurobiology of bipolar disorder
- Integrate a plan for improving recognition of bipolar disorder
- Implement strategies for the treatment and prevention of severe manic and mixed episodes
- Provide education about bipolar disorder and sources of psychosocial support to patients with bipolar disorder and their families
This program is designed for psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and other healthcare professionals who manage the care of patients with bipolar disorder.
