Audience Activity Evaluations

Every NCME activity is accompanied by a detailed participant evaluation that asks participants to rate the following basic aspects of each program:

• Knowledge of subject matter
  
• Appropriateness of teaching strategies
  
• Whether presentations were free of bias
  
• Degree to which presentation provided participant with skills to implement into practice
  
• Learning contract (practice changes) Utility of electronic or Web-based features (if applicable)
  

In addition, NCME collects professional data on each participant, including specialty, type of practice, and years in practice. The user is also asked to participate in a follow-up evaluation to help NCME analyze the impact of a program in clinical practice and on patient outcomes. NCME evaluations also ask for input on topics and faculty for future activities.
